story time sunday: wedding.

4 years out of college, spread all over the country, in different places in life, but still have the same bond. my college roommates are some of my best friends.

we were blessed to be able to spend a long weekend together to celebrate our sweet friend crissa's wedding.

just imagine, girls trip (we mostly left the hubbies at home), six of us sleeping in the same room (we couldn't leave each other's sides!), crying tears of joy, having heart to hearts, cooking, decorating, exploring, but mostly laughing and making memories that will last a life time!

it was a beautiful wedding and crissa made a stunning bride! tim- you are a blessed man (but i know you know that!). it was a joy to be apart of it.

i got some things to say.... or type!

first order of business.

a. alice in wonderland. saw it saturday. marvelous. but she really got me thinking... and i want to do is paint white roses red. and some of her wardrobe was stunning.

b. is it really march?! like- it's almost spring. i can start dusting off the flip flops and sun-dresses. oh this is a happy day!

c. the littlest things in life, bring me joy. there is the cutest lil asian couple at the end of my block. today, i drove past them and they were carrying the trash can to the curb together. i can't wait to do that (not take out the trash- but grow old with my man).

d. okay bachelor talk- vienna?! really?! even though i knew it, i was still pissed. okay- i'm over it. just had to get it off my chest one last time. kinda looking forward to jason and molly's wedding tonight! hollar!

e. my best friend whitney is engaged! ENGAGED people! now if this isn't love- i don't know what is?! i'm so stoked for them. it's going to be the fanciest wedding. and i'm going to have the most handsome date!

f. shout out to jillie and dane! they had their small intimate wedding in the mountains of santa barbara! i'm so stoked for these two. they are beautiful in every way.

g. another random.... i'm real tired of going places where people don't flush the toilet. like seriously, we aren't potty training here people! grow up and flush! i'm grossed out even writing about it. ew. (i better stop bloggin' before i offend some people)

h. and the reason i blog- to brag about my wonderful family.

my sister and jebron are having a babbbbbbbbyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! I'M GONNA BE AN AUNTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT! i'm biased, but it will be the most beautiful or handsome baby. in the world.

JILLIE RYAN and dane! i love this free spirit child. she met dane in her hometown of santa barbara, fell in love, and they traveled to portugal together (where he's from), lived in tree houses, and are now getting married! i love you beanie! soooo stoked!

went to dc a couple weeks ago. i love the culture there. everyone is so driven. it inspired me. i felt so much more educated on this country. visiting museums, walking and exploring the monuments, meeting neat people who are changing the world through politics and non-profits, and going to markets. as nerdy as it sounds, i'm proud to be an american.

so i got a tattoo.

the beginning of this month- i was in san diego with jordan and kayla. we were just cruising the beach on our bikes and saw a tattoo parlor. jordan said- you have to get a tatt! how fun would that be? i said, sure- why not? (i have never wanted a tatt but i wanted to do something spontaneous). so i got one! it's my middle name- hope. and it's my signature.

i adore it. it's small and cutie- kinda like me.

broken down on the 5! the cop had to stop traffic while our car got towed! only with us.

one girlfriend lp needed a friend to drive from california to seattle with her. so i volunteered. why not? my parents and i left vegas on a thursday night and ended up in azusa early in the morning. then me and lauren headed up the 5, only to break down an hour out of la. so we got towed, and ended up in sacramento at 11pm. dinner with some friends there then headed to yuba city (where my parents met) and stayed with my aunt. then left the next morning, headed up to redding and saw another friend. we planned on going to northern oregon and staying with one of my girlfriend's but guess what happened? we drove in the WRONG direction for 2 hours! we were about 5 hours from where we needed to be. it was wild. so we finally got there after driving up the crazy 101 while it was pouring rain and getting pulled over by the po po! anyways, from vegas to seattle, it was the best road trip of my life! thanks lp for the laughs and good times! the pics are all out of order but you get the point!
