what do you do when you have a quiet night in cause travy's having a guys night @ a baseball game?!

this book is perfect gift for mother's day! i highly recommend it. the book already has paragraphs underlined, the whole bottom section of the book has wavy pages (was reading it on the tub + accidentally dropped it in), recipes marked + ready to test! 

shout out to my sweet d grouPIES who bought it for my birthday. loving it!

housewife life: first night- soup!

thanks everyone for giving me different blogs or recipes! my recipe book is overflowin'! and i have a thankful husband!

so tonight- i put my housewife skillz to work! i pinned the pioneer woman's broccoli-cheese soup. oh boy! was it gooooood!

husband's analysis: i liked the flavor and consistency. def need to put that on the soup list!

joeley's analysis: it was good! i really liked it puree'd. i wouldn't have it any other way! yum yum!

housewife life.

so friends, i'm gonna need your help.

since moving to pasadena, i've been looking for a job. in the mean time, i'm a full-time housewife.

this is where my sweet, dear girlfriends (or guy friends who like to cook) come in!

i am in desperate need of new recipes! since trav is working hard, bringing home the bacon, i'm trying to do my best to keep my man happy.

next week, i want to try a new recipe every night. send me blogs of good recipes (already love the pioneer woman), personal favorites, etc. the more, the merrier!

i know you exist! i have lost multiple pieces of my favorite clothing....

-my nike work out capris!

-my argentina high waisted skirt!

-trav's fave khaki shorts!

-there's more but i can't think of it right now!

and i know i have moved cities and 2 different houses, and traveled a lot the past year so maybe they are somewhere in hawaii?! or portland?! maybe vegas?!?!? who knows?!

but i can't take all the blame! my closet is organized.
