Father: a man who has begotten a child.
This definition does not do justice to truly what a father is or does. My daddy, not only begotten us, but raised, loved, poured into us. He fought battles (and still does) for us on his knees, shows us the love of our Heavenly Father, and encourages us in being in the Word and knowing Jesus, intimately knowing Him.
Daddy, not a day goes by that we don’t think of how grateful we are for you. You have raised three beautiful children, loved mom in a way that inspires us, are a G-PA to two gorgeous grandchildren, and an awesome father in law to two! You have followed the call of God on your life and took risks. You've done more in your 50 years of your life that some people never accomplish in their lifetimes.
It's not about your accomplishments though daddy- it's about your heart. Thank you for being you and letting us have an earthly example of God's love for us. You are the best.
